Hello!  We are Tim, Chie, and Mitsuki Burns.  We are missionaries in Japan, where God has called us to proclaim the Gospel and plant churches to the glory of His name.

There is great need for the Gospel of Hope in Japan.  Less than 1% of the Japanese people are Christians. The Joshua Project lists the Japanese as the second largest unreached people group in the world.

However I firmly believe that the Jesus’ charge to His disciples in Luke 10:1-2 demonstrates that God is at work in even those parts of  the world where the light of Christ has not yet shone.

“After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them on ahead of him, two by two, into every town and place where he himself was about to go.  And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.””

We are going to Japan with the knowledge that it is God who does the work of salvation, we are simply laborers in His field.  Our prayer and hope is that God would use us as instruments in His hands as He grows His Church in Japan.  We need partners in this work.  If you have a desire to see the nations reached with the Gospel of God’s Grace, please join us in this work.
